They almost beat UGA though. We all know that a near victory against UGA means TN is just around the corner...........oh wait.

1. VOL LOL

2. it takes more than 1 good team to shift power back to the east.
So the Vols can't by themselves do it. The problems with the east is how inconsistent the teams are. There is only ever really 1-2 good teams the rest catch a case of the injury bug or just implode like a dwarf star.

I remember the year we played all the freshman from our first good recruiting class.

We went 12-0 in the regular season.

Yes. This is what I was thinking and they're off to a good start.

Doesn't matter. Didn't have Dooley nuking your program.

The Big Orange will make Saban's arse quit on the way to reclaiming their rightful throne as kings of the East.

Nah, just Mike Price and Mike Shula.

Not as bad as Dooley. Shula was a worthless coach but could actually recruit.

Start winning then. The Florida game would be a good start.

The master of the #22 recruiting class that finished #9 in the SEC.

Seriously, Shula was just as bad as Dooley. Maybe not as big a PR disaster with ex-players, but coaching and recruiting wise just as big a disaster.

Nice guy, decent QB coach, miserable head coach.

I find that hard to believe. Yes, Shula was garbage but Dooley is easily bottom 5 in SEC history.

Horrible recruiting plus even worse attrition is why we have played the most freshmen in the country already. I could count on one hand the number of impact players on this team that was recruited by Dooley and we're only into year 2 of the Butch Jones era.
