Awful, how is that not an automatic situation where you are not going for 2? Even then, how does no one on the sideline let him know in that situation.

Well at least I don't have to give a damn about the rest of this season. Time to look forward to an improving basketball team & baseball.

You know, for as much shite we give Clemson about Clemsoning, we sure do frick up 1 game a year too. But yeah, it's inexcusable for him not to know that. Seems like our teams will always have this one let down/shouldn't lose game.

Let's not forget how they got their 1st TD. Going for it on 4th down on the opening drive.

eta: It was a poorly coached and a poorly played game.

I'm honestly ok with not going for 2 in the situation. You take the 1 point until you need 2.

With 8 mins left and the way out offense was throwing up 3 and outs Mizzou could have won with 2 FGs and a TD if we miss the attempt

I'm on travel to California for the second time we have lost. I take full responsibi..... I take 85% of the responsibility for the loss, I only caught tiny clips of the game.

The other 15% goes to thompson, how does a 5th year senior keep taking 10-12 yard sacks outside the tackle box?

Well at least my business travel can't jinx our season even worse than it has become. 4-5 losses this year is more than likely, either our tools are too young or don't perform at all.

At the time I was ok with him not going for 2... but I'm not a coach now, never have been and never will be. So I assume somebody with that much coaching experience would be better at making these kinds of decisions. That's why we pay him the big bucks.

Spurrier is a great coach, but for all of his praise it's amazing how he panics and goes into a full melt during games some times. His play calling last night showed it. His play calling in a few notable past losses show it as well. This isn't just on Spurrier, it's on the offense in general. Dylan was poor. OL was poor (credit Mizz DL). WRs/TEs were poor (minus Cooper). I was extremely disappointed in Busta and Roland. Busta had several BIG drops and Roland had several BIG penalties despite not contributing to the offense at all (ZERO catches I believe).

A few positives.... Our running backs are beginning to find a groove (Brandon Wilds is a STUD) and the season is far from over, unlike most teams, we're halfway through our conference schedule, while teams like Mizzou are literally just getting started.

The East is far from settled... but my expectations are definitely lowered. We're a 7/8 win team this year. 9/10 wins would make me ecstatic.

This team doesn't even make sense.

We all know our defense isn't up to par and the only thing that was keeping us afloat was our supposedly good offense. However, we are so hot and cold on offense, it's unbelievable. Very frustrating to watch constant three and outs with no adjustments being made.

A play that sticks out to me is the one where Dylan completely air mailed the ball over a standing receiver in the flat. Dylan sucks and cannot carry a passing offense.

Agreed. The last 4 play calls were very disappointing. And the first pass by Thompson was atrocious

I wasn't at the game. I had some parties to go to this weekend. I did watch most of the game off and on. When we got up by 13, I too thought it was odd we didn't go for 2, but then again I thought our defense had played MUCH better than they played all year and it wouldn't really matter. damn, that was a shitty loss.

Some of the good things I took out of it is our defense played SOOO MUCH better in this new scheme. The fell apart the 2nd to last drive, but they forced as many punts in this game as they ha all year. Special teams did well too, in that we didn't allow any big plays and Pharoh got some room to return punts.

We ran the ball well. We ran the bell pretty damn well...how idid we lose?

We his some good passes, Pharoh's TD was awesome.

THE BAD
Busta has too many drops. He dropped that TD near the end, it was in his hands. If he would've caught that, we would've had a 3 score lead and won the game. He also has no moves. He catches the ball and then waits to get hit.

Dylan, how many times is it feesible for a 5th year Sr to get sacked outside the tackle box? He made some amazing passes, then he made some bonehead plays.

The RB's had a great game, they did enough that we should've won.

OL played ok for the most part, but allowed some sacks (however, Dylan could've thrown the ball 3-4 times and avoided that.)

So we're still where I thought we were after the aTm loss, we'll be fortunate to win 9. This is a rebuilding year.
