No but the Vols had to put their backup in and he fumbles multiple snaps. So it could be worse.

If Ramsey can learn the audibles and pickup on blitz packages, put him in....if not, Mason stays

No, but Todd Gurley is worth a two touchdown margin over our opponent per game, so at least we have him.

Yes, he didn't blow the game and Ramsey is still not ready. Bauta isn't the answer right now either.

Mason does have trouble getting the ball down field but he's still our best bet.

If it weren't for Gurley, I'd have zero interest in watching this team. Our defense and quarterback are trash. What good is getting our receivers back? It's not like Mason can actually throw the ball to them.

Exactly without Gurley our offense is crap. I say plan for the future. Ramsey and Bauta can hand the ball off too. At least Ramsey has an arm. Some of masons throws were just awful!

I'm completely sober so maybe this time I can put together a decent post.

To answer the question I honestly don't know.

Too many times it's just as much an issue of the WR not running the right route or Mason's pass taking too long to get there.

During these screens the WR or RB has to stop, wait on that weak pass, then try to get up field. By the time the ball gets there the D is all over it.

However, maybe he is the only choice because he knows the play book better than our other choices.

BUT, I think our lack of experience on defense really compounds the issues Mason has. Regardless who is at QB our defense has to not allow 30+ a game .

Take a deep breath.... smell that... it's a victory against a much improved Tenn team that plays us HAM every year.. Chill out let's give him a look when he gets his targets back.

Let Ramsey start....utilize Bauta for the redzone....

at least that's what the armchair coach in me says

Mason attempted 7 passes beyond 10 yards today. Four of those passes were completions. Unfortunately, two of those four completions were caught by the other team.
