For the first time under Grant, we are going to have some sort of midnight madness event. This would bolster his recruiting efforts if people actually showed up. If no one comes, it makes us look even worse. I've read rumors on other sites that this may take place in Foster and other rumors have said maybe even on the quad. I think anywhere but Coleman Coliseum would be a good idea.
My question though is are you guys that will be on campus going to attend this event? Campus should be buzzing for the A&M game.

I'd totally go as a student. When I was there we'd do pretty much anything if it was an excuse to stay up late.

I wish I was still a stunt and didn't live 3 1/2 hours away. I'd totally be there. Heck, I still might find a way, but not likely.

They should do it on the quad. On a football weekend if possible. Actively recruit the fraternities/sororities to show up
The athletic administration is pretty new at getting creative on stuff.
If they did it on the quad it would be the first time any school did something like that. Would get good fun coverage on sec network/ESPN.

I don't understand how that would work? set up a basketball court on the quad lawn? no one would have a good view.

I'll go just cause hardly any one ever supports the basketball team anyways and its free for students.

It's not going to be practice, and it won't be at midnight. But it will be cool and will definitely capitalize on the crowd that will be in town
