1. Here's to an injury free game for both teams.
2. I just read that y'all never offered AJ Johnson. I realize y'all have in-state talent to spare and can't offer everyone but how on Earth does a guy like AJ and one who grew up ~30 mins from campus go unoffered?!
Good Luck tomorrow just hopefully not too much luck. I'm truly looking forward to this game - always do.

Pretend machine guns are frowned upon at UGA.

While i agree with noone getting hurt, i hope ut has a long ride back. A 52-10 would be great. Knoxville is the thorn in my side.

I can't say I blame you and respect your fandom. Of course, I'm hoping for the opposite outcome but such is the way of being a fan.

Especially after last year, I hope everyone stays safe and no one gets hurt.
But I want some revenge for TN ruining our season. I want to see the backups playing in the 3rd Qtr due to the score, not injuries..

That was Grantham's first recruiting class. Willie and Staff had actually passed on him because they thought he was too slow to cover sideline to sideline. AJ really hoped that the new staff would reevaluate him and offer, but it was one of Grantham's manifold frick ups, in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. crispy.

I like AJ because I think he is a fantastic player. Why not offered? Who knows

Well, has he proven them especially wrong? He has average sideline to sideline speed. He is a solid tackler, but when has he shown to be particularly better than Herrera or Wilson? He is a great gamer, but does have some deficiencies.

This year I think he has. AJ looked slow up until now but he had absolutely no help until this year. Now that he does he's not only faster but everywhere and he made getting faster a priority in the offseaon.
Consider this hit (Cam lays the wood but AJ is right there):
But it's beyond that he's been all over the field. He's simply not the AJ from years past at all.

Hes a gamer. End of story. The kid makes things happen and is one helluva football player. Not saying better than either of the two mentioned but if he were in ugas linebacking corp itd be a sick rotation of great backers.

I don't know man, that DB steps up and makes the play he is supposed to but AJ would not have kept him from that firstdown. I think AJ Johnson is a heckuva a player but I think he is a bit slow.
Now that I said that he will be stopping every screen, swing, and toss we throw around.

I understand where you're coming from, I really do. And TBH, vol fans have been the worst about criticizing AJ's speed - as a fan base we've been absolutely vicious on the guy. But even the worst "AJ is sloooow" guys (and gals) have changed their tune this year. I'm not kidding when I say he's been a whole new player this year.
While I admit, I've thought our fans were way too hard on him these past years (just utterly brutal). He's shocked the hell out of me the past three games, including against OU and even I thought he was a bit slow.
