Is there a fanbase trying to will themselves to importance more than Aggy?

Don't look at the records or accomplishments- just talk to the Aggie fans on here. They will tell you what a great football program they have, how important they are, and how much everyone cares about playing them.
Does it bother them that much to not be a premier program in this conference? Is it a sort of little man sydrome from being in Texas shadow so long?
Maybe if ya'll want to be a top dog so badly, you should've joined the B1G, or the SWAC for top dog status and a more central location.
I don't know what else to tell Aggies. Would it please you if we talked about how good Johnny Football was, that you got a Louisiana recruit that LSU wanted, Sumlin is a good coach, ya'll beat Bama that one time? I don't know how to cure your pyschological wounds from years of jealousy and resentment towards Texas. You're safe now, they can't hurt you any longer. Keep hiding in the middle of the pack in the SEC, and make the best of it.

Eh, Aggie is not a traditional power school, but I think we are all just waiting for them to permanently step up to that level.
That's why this weekend is interesting. Arkansas and A&M are basically equals historically, but one is on a much higher trajectory (although it may be derailed tomorrow).

I didn't read the OP, but yes there are programs out there that are worse than us. Baylor and Oregon come to mind.

It's sad that LSU fans have come to this. But I guess this is what you do when your football team is not longer relevant.
