My dad played football at t.u. for DKR. He loves to tell stories about the trips to Arkansas and the treatment that they received up there.
His first trip, they arrived in Arkansas and boarded the bus that was to take them to their hotel. The driver pulled away, then stopped the bus, stood up, turned around and yelled "soooooeeeeeeee" at a bus full of t.u. football players. The man then calmly sat down and drove the team to their hotel.
The 'horns got more of the same from every direction all weekend, beginning with busboys at dinner and running through to stadium arrival.
t.u. won the game, but the taunting did not stop until the 'horns left the State.
Fun to see that the Hogs' aggressive attitude has not changed all that much in the intervening years.

I had fun with Hog fans at a Denny's in Dallas after Mallet destroyed us in Jerryworld. Good people.

There is a fantastic family story between my Grandfather (Razorback), a Ole Miss fan and Texas A&M. They all were on the train coming home from WWII heading to Memphis from San Diego.
I'll have to ask the family about it and get back to you because I don't want to muck up the story.

I don't troll. I've just noticed an uncanny resemblance between Tech and Arkansas.

its a shame that they switched it to Jerryworld. I always looked forward to the A&M fans coming to town. I could get my grass mowed and the flower bed weeded real cheap.

The cool thing for Aggies to do now is act like they aren't rivals with Texas. It's kind of pathetic but they're a persistent bunch with their schtick.
