Apparently "block in the back" is legal in the Big 12, because KSU got away with it on every kick.

I noticed that during the game and Gus jumping on the refs a little. Those refs knew what they were doing.

Was a tough win.

I bet they're not slow for teams like OU, Baylor, and WVU. That had to be by design. Gus was just taking the high road. Classy move coach.

They clearly were, but that just means our offense is overwhelmingly reliant on pace. Our talent level should have made a more significant gap in the game, in my opinion.

I noticed SEC refs allowing linemen blocking over 5 yds down field this weekend. So....yup

and suddenly all the stars align and rbWarEagle finally sees why Bielema and Saban tried so hard to slow the pace.

Well, yeah... but that just worries me. We should have the talent to overcome.

eh, a lot of it has to do with getting in a rhythm, too. Yes, it relies on pace, but we were able to move the ball in the 4th while trying to use clock. If our receivers catch the easy passes, the game could have been much different.

It is like playing golf, you can have all the talent in the world, but if you are use to a routine, and then you have to wait on the tee box for 10 minutes before you shoot, good chance it won't be a great shot.

It took us to a national championship twice. One game doesn't worry me

This offense just needs a spark like they did in 09 with that pump and go to Zachary. Yes, 09 happened in the first game, which would have been nice. They just need one big play that kind of gets everybody back in the same groove. They will be fine.

'Twas intentional almost to make a statement. I was ready to throw shite at the tv watching those refs. Big 10 officials refer the 2011 BCSCG & it was nothing like that. I dont know who refer last years game, but I dont remember refs walking around.

Well, if our D is for real, the O doesn't need to be as good as last year. Just a thought.

Let's not get hung up on the refs, this game can be officially in the past in 4 days. Hopefully the anxiety of our traumatic victory will have passed by then

It was obvious the refs were against Auburn that night. I have watched the game several times now and there were multiple blocks in the back, holdings and questionable calls against Auburn all night long.

We were lucky to escape the little apple with a win
