"He is a true junior from Miami, and he is fabulous. His ability to run routes -- I met Amari when he was in high school at a football clinic and he's probably the most advanced wide receiver that I have seen at a young age since Randy Moss. He has unbelievable speed, unbelievable demeanor, route running, the sky is the limit."

Bad comparison, doesn't change the fact that Coop is a beast though

Exactly. Cooper is the second coming of Reggie Wayne.

Coop is more athletic than Wayne ever was.

Randy Moss was a solid route runner not terrible. His football IQ though was elite. He knew what the defense was doing. Coop is the man though. Savy as hell

Agreed. When people think about Randy Moss they think of his freak athleticism but to play at such an elite level you have to be more than a freak. He had it all. Could have easily been the best wr of all time if he had even close to the work ethic of Jerry Rice.

Never thought we'd see a WR at Bama better than Julio, yet here we are a few years later. Yes, I think Amari is a better WR than Julio.

I didn't get the comparison either but I'll take it. Cooper is unlike any WR I've seen.....this guy is going to get PAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID soon.

A little bit Amari but Moss was still a lot taller and more physical

Y'all are forgetting about the fact that going up and making a catch with a DB right in your pocket is called Mossing on somebody.

I think Cris is referring to the natural ability as a WR. The ability to separate, make contested catches, etc. Coop does it with his polished route running; Moss did it because he was quicker, faster and could jump higher than his opposition.

Also, remember Randy spent his formative professional years with Cris in Minnesota, so I doubt Cris is just making hyperbole here.

You just explained Cooper! I get what you're saying though.
