I have been doing fan duel for about 3 months now. It is a week long fantasy league that is with CFB, NFL, and MLB. I have won more money than I have lost and it is a great way to keep track of the games.
I was just wondering of anyone on the board has done it and if so what ya think about it.

The big question is have you pulled money out?

I haven't yet bc I haven't won a ton yet. My friend who told me about it has won around 300 bucks and he took out 250 of the 300 and it was deposited into his PayPal account ( which is how he has it set up.) If you set it up through a checking account the mail you a check. It's a legit sight.

how does it work? i've seen some stuff that makes it seem like you have to pay to get the players you draft or something? is that wrong?

The way it works is:
1) You set up an account
2) Deposit how much ever you want ( they have promo codes were they will match what ever your first deposit is.)
3) Then you pick a league you want to be in based on the amount you want to bet.
4) Then you pick players based on the teams playing that week. You and everyone in that league has a set salary ex. 60K to pick your roster. Everyone picks from the same players. Every player is worth different amounts ( the better the player the more it cost)
The salary makes it to were you have to pick some top notch players and some back ups.
You have to pick:
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 K
1 Defense
Most leagues pay out to X amount of players depending on how many people are In that league.
There are some head to head leagues also. ( So its just you against one other person)

Don't want to get into my username and stuff over there, but being doing bSeball and football for 1.5 years there and it's a suckers bet unless you have the right sites for research.
The "pay for players" is each game you enter, you get a salary and draft a team based on the salary cap.
Only advice I can give to be really successful there......join a LOT of 3 man leagues from $500 down to $10.....and avoid the top players of the month. Do research on sites out there that give you their breakdowns.....
There's a reason certain people make a living off these types of sites (fanduel, draft kings, etc). If you're really interested in joining and willing to spend the money that it takes to win...we can connect

ah ok, I thought you had to put up real money to buy your draft picks or some shite
sounds cool, but I already waste too much time with regular fantasy football

I love it bc I mainly bet between 1 to 10 dollars. Some of the pay outs are ( $1 to win $5000 for 1st and it pays out to like the top 1500 players and even 1500 you make double your money.) It's not hard to win some money.
It is hard to win the big pay outs but the way I look at it like I am watching the damn games anyway so why not bet a little bit of money to possibly win a good bit.

Also one thing I really like about it is that I have about 10 friends that all do it too. You can make a league so just your friends can be in it and you compete against each other. We do $2 a piece and winner takes all which is around $20.

wtf...theres leagues with 1500+ plus teams?

Yeah man there are some leagues with like 30000 people. But you can choose which ones you want to do. There are leagues that have just 2 people in them.
Some that have 10 people, 100 people and so on.
It just depends on what you want to do. Obviously the more people the more money the bigger the pay outs.

what happens if you have multiple teams with the same roster though? they just split the pot?

Fanduel takes 15% of your money each week to "host" this friends league.....smart....

And it's a hell of a lot easier than calculating points yourself and divying up 20 bucks
