A 20-year-old University of Alabama student has been arrested and charged with harassing communications following an alarming message that was sent Monday.
He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $2,500 bond. Sources tell us the suspect is Dakota John Timm from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
This message is not believed to be directly connected with the initial intimidating post that was sent on Sunday night.
This is a developing story and FOX6 News reporter Josh Gauntt will have more on this coming up at 9 and 10 p.m.

Glad they found him. No telling if he/they had real plans to go through with any of it but you don't post 2 threats (that we know of, anyway) and expect to walk.

My guess is that the reason they know this guy didn't send the first one is because the first guy probably used a sophisticated means of masking his identity and this guy did not.

This guy is not responsible for the the original two YouTube messages that have started all the mess on campus. This guy sent a lot of prank texts piggybacking off of the original threatening comments on the YouTube video. Whoever is behind the YouTube comments is still being searched for. This kid though is a total idiot. Don't know why he ever thought pranking some people in the midst of these terrorist style threats was ever a good idea. Way to ruin your futur,e kid.

All of this, which is why I am still worried. It bothers me that they still haven't figured out who sent the first two threats, but found this guy rather quickly.
