Let's stop this nonsense. Miles isn't going anywhere. He is a top 10 coach even if he makes a few questionable decisions. Chavis is a top 10 DC even if he makes a few questionable decisions, and he isn't going anywhere.

If he does LSU would be in trouble. The only replacements that wouldn't be a step down are all VERY long shots for the most part. If miles were fired or left I think a Tennessee-like decent would be likely.

You don't know Chavis. My guess is he goes to Duke, maybe even retires if that's what he wants, but I could also see him going to other non-rival schools. I would love to have him back at UT but his loyalty to Fulmer would never allow it - just not in him. He took what happened more personally than anyone else and while he still loves UT and the guys who were responsible are gone, I think between the loyalty and loving the university too much will always keep him from returning.
