LSU and Auburn fans seem to be having a bit of resentment towards their friends in College Station lately... but why? Is the devil know better than the one you don't? You're more scared of Sumlin than Saban? I just don't get it.

Sumlin is innovative, but Saban is a proven champion.

My "fear" has no bearing of outcomes in AU sports.

I look forward to Saban joining the SEC Network as their senior film room analyst.

Aggies and LSU dated before and I don't think the break up was on good terms. So I can't say Aggies, and I sure as heck can't say Gumps, so neither.

TAMU all day...why anyone on God's green Earth would want Bama to do anything other than die in a fire is beyond me.

Believe or not, most LSU fans I guarantee you, even despite Douchebag Dillon, want MSU to ATL over Bama, TAM, Aub, Old Myth, and Ark./

The way you use the quote function out of order is annoying. I just wanted to let you know.

It's not that at all. It's because they never win anything, and LSU has dominated the series. They also have very nice alums/fans. Except when head-to-head in a sport, and sometimes Baseball, LSU fan can root for Moo U.

Old Myth, despite doing nada since Vaught, can still be a pest.

Aub and Bama, legit heavyweights, and title winners.

TAM, a sleeping giant.

Ark...largely Mizzou-esque..but a pest.

Moo U, the SEC West program, and fanbase, that LSU fan can most easily root for without feeling dirty.

I hate you both equally. You're asking me to choose between a team that talks shite and has backed it up, versus a team that talks shite and has done nothing to back it up. I don't think I could choose between the two with a gun to my head.

Oddly enough, I think the last time State went to the SEC Championship was the last time aTm played in a conference championship game of any kind - 1998. State was in a real conference though and had to play Tennessee, the eventual national champions.

Different kinds of hate, as I described. Bama is the kid in school who's actually beaten us in a fight and rubs it in. aTm is the kid who we beat after they ran their mouth, but instead of shutting up they now do it from behind the teacher.

As an Auburn fan, I have nothing against Texas A&M and I'm glad they are in the SEC. I would say the vast majority of my Auburn friends feel the same way. If AU doesn't represent the west, I hope it would be A&M.
