Your thoughts on Mark Richt.

I was looking at his overall record earlier and was wondering what Dawg fans would think of Mark Richt and how his perception would be nationally; If UGA were to win out this year , including SEC and NC.
At that point he would be;
140-46. .752%
1 NC
3 SEC
7 DIV
I'm not claiming this will happen , just wondering what you think of him if it does.

He'd get a lot of respect obviously for finally doing it and I think nationally people would hold him in higher regard, but would want to see him do it again before claiming him to be a top 5 coach.

I've grown beyond my desire to get rid of CMR after watching the last few years of the thuggery, "processing" and overall looking the other way that other programs do constantly. It pains me to say this...but I've bought into The Georgia Way and no matter how much I bitch, moan and hate on everyone after a loss.....I'd rather have a straight up guy who tries to play within the rules than some narcissist that wants to win at any cost and cheats the whole time doing it (aka Auburn).
If the stars ever align and we do pull off the natty....it'll make it that much sweeter.

A very good coach and clearly one of the best we have ever had. He's not always gonna get the absolute most out of his players but I feel like his players who buy into the program respect him and would run through a wall if he told them to. He is a great leader for them as not only a coach but a life teacher and a father figure I'd bet a lot of his players don't have.
With that said, UGA could find a better X's and O's coach. CMR will always find ways to win 10 games, winning 12, 13 or 14 depends on his assistants. He has shown he can get really close with elite defensive coaches and good enough offensive coaches. Without those pieces we do underachieve (2008, 2009, 2010). I believe we win one with Bobo and Pruitt (Pending how long he is at UGA).
I think the future is bright, despite the tough loss to USCe.
