WTF is wrong with me? Weird epiphany on my hatrednesses

My hatred for State has been dwindling the past week. The Rant's State fans for the most part aren't that bad, and nowhere near the idiots on ED/SPS. Earlier in the year I was watching the UAB game and praying for an upset, and almost lost my voice I was cheering/laughing so loud at the big pass plays UAB made. The kicking fiasco this year and overall slopiness those first few games had me tickled as an Aggie in jizz.
The obnoxious fans on the Rant from other schools have me almost cheering for State to dominate everyone else until we meet them in the Egg Bowl. I was cheering for LSU this week, but once it appeared State had the game locked down, I became complacent. Then, for just a second, I was hoping Mullen ran the score up.
So, what the frick is wrong with me? Am I getting soft? Are the other fans in the SEC just that miserable? Is it some sort of Mississippi under dog unity I'm feeling? My hatred for Bama schools was always on par with my hatred for State, but they've passed them by a longshot lately. I hate to say it, but I think I'd rather State do well (behind us of course), and see LSU, Bama, Auburn, etc start losing to them every year. Am I the only one?

It's because deep down, you want to see an undefeated Egg Bowl. Could you imagine the things that would do for both of our programs. There is only so much hate in the history of the Egg Bowl because when both teams get 5-7 wins every year, the only thing you can hang your hat on is an instate rivalry win.

@pivey I agree, that would be pretty cool if it had national implications every year vs a battle of who might get a bowl and not suck the most. I'd rather compete with State for top tier recruits than see them go to Saban. It would be pretty cool getting the kind of national exposure the Iron Bowl brings every year and put Mississippi on the map for something positive.

Maybe you are starting to view state fans kinda like a little brother IRL? You can pick on them but you defend them if an outsider starts fricking with them.
Since I am from Missouri I love talking trash to MU fans. BTW work was a blast today! But lets say a Bama fan starts talking shite about Mizzou then I will stick up for Mizzou. It's weird.

I'm pretty jealous you got to rub it in Mizzou fan's faces. I'm just waiting for the day A&M shits the bed so I can an do the same. They're the cockiest fan base I've ever dealt with on a daily basis. Anyway, I actually had a pretty good troll post with quotes from Mizzou fans (around 30) over the last week stating: Ole Miss was the most over ranked team in the SEC and Mizzou would kill them again, that the -13.5 spread last week was the lock of the century, and whining about how little respect they've been given this year in the polls and media. Then I accidently deleted it while battling a hangover that would make the God's cry and was too lazy to recreate it.

Yeah, it's not the end of the world with them beating LSU and losing out. I'd love to see these false hope fans on my Facebook page in misery when their season goes down the shitter.
Besides the typical Bama tards being tards, what's up with these USCe fans and all their uppity bullshite? I noticed more and more coming out of the woodwork lately besides CNB (who's the uncontested biggest frickface on the site). I'll be happy when the East powers get their feet again just to pound them back to the irrelevancy and they return to shite stain status.

I honestly never thought I would live to see the day that LSU fans were reduced to the hemorrhagic mass of butthurt bitches that they have become since Saturday night. I'm waiting for the torch and pitchfork mobs to start streaming across the Mississippi River now. We may have to send the NG to Vicksburg and Natchez to halt their advance towards Starkville.

We're fine, their airboats will bottom out before they even get close. Before they figure out how to advance any further they will have beaten New Mexico State and be back in their delusions of winning out the rest of the season and still making it to Atlanta.

Anyone who played dealt with dirty shite, but that kid should be suspended just for stupidity. There are ways to get cheap shots in, and doing a humpity dumpity plop on some dudes guts in a nationally televised game away from the pile ain't it.

This is the Mason Katz bullshite all over again.. They were pussy hurt about that for months and they actually took 2/3 in baseball that weekend.. Now you combine a "dirty" play with a loss in Death Valley at night and it takes it to a whole new level.
I'm not saying this to take away from yall's victory, but come November, dont be surprised if LSU and Arkansas are duking it out for last place in the West.
