According to 247Sports, he is being recruited by Auburn, LSU and Louisville. He unofficially visited LSU on Saturday and will "probably" visit Auburn this weekend for the Louisiana Tech game.

In high school, the 6-foot-5, 320-pounder was a four-star prospect out of Jenkins County in Millen, Ga. He held offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, LSU, Michigan and South Carolina, among others.

Good. We need help on the D line.

But can he stomp offensive lineman on the ground? Or spear in the back?

sorry we want to rehabilitate the hooligans from other schools. Some places get federal funding for that.

Recruiting board, but I don't understand how he could possibly be worth the risk for a decent program. He's not even good. He hardly played. Go find a HS kid who hasn't beat up his girlfriend

Don't really care one way or the other.

If he can ball, bring him on in.

I opened this thread expecting it to be germans about a recent ex-UT player.

This kind of recruiting is going to come under fire soon with what's going in the NFL.

Schools like Auburn will be in the spotlight for being a dumping ground for troubled athletes.

Seems like this "news" is coming out every other week, but none of the teams "recruiting" him are doing anything but permitting him to visit unofficially.

While this is true, I don't think I'd even let him do that.

Yeah, I'm sure NOW is going to be upset that we brought in a couple of petty thieves. We'll probably lose sponsors right and left.

Must suck watching football when you can tell the future.

As for your theory, if the kids aren't getting in trouble for 2 or 3 years at Auburn, the NFL doesn't care.

I'd venture to say there is almost a 0% chance this kid gets an offer from AU. Furthermore, it's doubtful past petty thievery is going to cause much of a stir. AU doesn't have anyone with a violent criminal history on the roster that I am aware of (here's looking at you Bama thread starter).
