Combined, those two classes aren't as good as the upcoming class currently is. The question of just how good it is will be based on MLB attrition...

We already lost a Freshman outfielder. Taylor Stafford quit the team. He had potential to start as a freshman in center field.

Engie, have you seen the kid play? he was very very good. Talked to players and they were expecting him to receive tons of playing time. He put up stupid number at New Hope.

Yes.

He was arguably the most questionable signee in the last class.

In 4 years maybe. He wasn't seeing the field next year.

Nothing awe-inspiring about a high school outfielder that hits in the mid .400s without a lick of power production. There are a half-dozen or more of them in MS every single year.

He quit during WEIGHT TRAINING apparently. Never made it to first fall camp. And I'm supposed to blame that on someone other than him? Hate to break it to you -- but starters don't quit prior to day 1.

The kid realized there are more important things than baseball. He spent the summer in a third world country. This kid has tremendous talent. Say what you you want.
