To be completely honest I do not see why any LSU supporter can say Les needs to go. You guys have had some unbelievable seasons under Miles and although this years team doesn't look as strong as some of the past ones, they are all still very young and have a ton of potential. I am not an LSU fan so I won't say much more but I'm interested in hearing some reasoning behind firing Les

how many coaches have won a "game of the Century"?

On paper the future looks bright.

Are people even talking about that??? Ridiculous. Hell of a coach...I'd be proud to have him as Auburn's coach.

Any real LSU fan would tell you they didn't have expectations for this year. The amount of talent they're had leave for the NFL is too much to overcome.

Because most of our fans are developmentally challenged arse hats.
That's about the only reason to fire him.

He won it all with Saban's players and now that they're gone he cant get it done with his own.
With that said, I hope he coaches at LSU fot a long time.

No. And I'm happy the message boards don't influence the university. Les is a great coach and does a great job of getting his players a degree/preparing them for the NFL and life in general. Any lsu fan who says different can SMDB

People are tired of him taking all of the fun out of the game. We've run the same fricking offense for 10 years and outside of a season or two it's been total shite the whole time.
But don't worry, Les is going nowhere any time soon

About half that have participated in them. There's usually a "Game of the Century" about every other year.

It's real dummies saying Les Miles should be fired. He's one of the top 5 coaches in college football. We got beat Saturday night, period. We'll probably lose a few more games this year. But we have a lot of talent and watch out in 2015-2016.
If they fire Les, who would we get that's better? Saban ain't coming back.

You beat us once in 15 years. ONCE. And as much as you beat the wheels off us for 3 qtrs, as putrid as our defense was, and our offense was, there we were one play away from winning it.
Does Les make questionable decisions? Of course. You show me ONE infallible coach, past or present. Les' seat at LSU isn't even a bit warm, he's so cool he's sitting on an ice block sipping on an icee in Anchorage. LSU would be stupid to fire him.

I fear the day the Les haters, get their wish, and he retires, and we go looking for a new coach. Its hard enough to get back to back great coaches, much less 3 in a row.

LOL...yeah, Saban hasn't coached there in 10 years...meaning, by 2009, all of the players he recruited were gone. Les Miles is 46-10 since then, with an SEC championship and a title appearance.

I do not think Les is a top 5 coach. I think LSU is a top 5 program... A lot of coaches could have the same success Les has had at LSU. He recruits well, but LSU has always recruited well once Saban established the program. No flame! I think LSU would be scary if they had Sumlin or Malzahn. But you cannot say that he is a top 5 coach!
