Curious had the kid looks with weeks worth of game planning and practice reps.

Splitting reps against NM St just doesn't make sense... Harris is the future, and the sooner he gets comfortable in the offense, the sooner LSU will be back to moving the ball.

If Harris is the starter we will not know until Saturday.

I'll be shocked if Jennings doesn't start this weekend, and next Saturday at Auburn.

This.

But I personally hope Harris gets the start.

Yes. Y'all will not have the luxury of competing against Anthony Jennings in 2 weeks.

I hope and pray LSU starts a true freshman against Auburn, especially one that has gotten very little playing time against legitimate competition up until now

We'll blame the stiff dew if we lose.

I will never disparage any player that puts on an LSU jersey, but I think most people see that AJ doesn't have "it." Harris, while young and very green, has that it factor that AJ doesn't -- I don't even know how to quantify it.

There was a noticeable difference in the team's demeanor when Harris went out; they seemed to play with more efficiency and enthusiasm. If it was up to me, I'd rather lose games this year and get Harris his reps, than lose games trying to make something work that clearly doesn't while Harris misses out on vital experience.

What will Les do this weekend?

Harris really needs to start. It's clear we aren't winning the west this year so give him the time to work out the growing pains. His upside is so much higher.

It is. There is not way on God's green earth that Les is going to run Harris out there to start @ Auburn.

I don't think Jennings has started a true road game yet either... he started the bowl game, against Wisconsin in Houston, and three other home games.

regardless who gets the start on Oct 4th, they'll be making their first road start.
