Maybe I'm being overly dramatic but I think that drive following the Sims interception was the kind of drive that can define a team and possibly a season.

Look at what happened before the drive: Sims throws a terrible interception that is returned to the 16, Saban jumps onto Blake on the sideline, Florida quickly scores to tie it up.

It would have been easy to get down about the way things were going and possibly lose the game. Instead Alabama answered like this:

ALABAMA drive start at 3Q 12:42

1st and 10 T.J. Yeldon rush over right guard for 2 yards to the UA36 (Ivie,J.).

2nd and 8 T.J. Yeldon rush up middle for 7 yards to the UA43 (Fowler,D.).

3rd and 1 T.J. Yeldon rush WM for 4 yards to the UA47, 1ST DOWN UA (Taylor,M.;Gorman,J.).

1st and 10 Blake Sims sideline pass incomplete to Jalston Fowler.

2nd and 10 Blake Sims rush over left end for 9 yards to the UF44, out-of-bounds (Poole,B.).

3rd and 1 T.J. Yeldon rush over left tackle for 4 yards to the UF40, 1ST DOWN UA (Maye,M.;Taylor,M.).

1st and 10 Blake Sims sacked for loss of 8 yards to the UF48 (McCalister,A.).

2nd and 18 Derrick Henry rush over right end for 6 yards to the UF42 (Neal,K.).

3rd and 12 Blake Sims crossing pass complete to DeAndrew White for 12 yards to the UF30, 1ST DOWN UA.

1st and 10 Derrick Henry rush over left end for loss of 1 yard to the UF31 (Morrison,A.;Brantley,C.).

2nd and 11 Blake Sims LF pass complete to O.J. Howard for 10 yards to the UF21, out-of-bounds (Neal,K.).

3rd and 1 Blake Sims rush quarterback sneak for 2 yards to the UF19, 1ST DOWN UA (Ball,N.;Morrison,A.).

1st and 10 Blake Sims flag pass incomplete to Amari Cooper.

2nd and 10 PENALTY UA false start (Leon Brown) 5 yards to the UF24.

2nd and 15 Derrick Henry rush up middle for 7 yards to the UF17 (Orr,L.).

3rd and 8 Blake Sims RF pass complete to Amari Cooper for 17 yards to the UF0, clock 06:07, PENALTY UA pass interference (Amari Cooper) 15 yards to the UF32, NO PLAY.

3rd and 23 Blake Sims LF pass complete to Derrick Henry for 29 yards to the UF3, 1ST DOWN UA, out-of-bounds (Neal,K.).

1st and GOAL Derrick Henry rush over left end for 3 yards to the UF0, TOUCHDOWN, clock 05:27.

1st and GOAL Adam Griffith kick attempt good.

ALABAMA drive end 3Q 05:27

A 16-play, 7-minute plus drive, including 2 penalties, 1 sack, and 5 third-down conversions, two of which were for 12 and 23 yards.

Yeah that was a great drive. Sims over came a lot of adversity in this game. Nothing seems to rattle him. Looks like we have the best of both worlds with this offense. Fast scores and time consuming drives.

This team has been great at converting 3rd downs all season. Have to give CLK and BS a lot of credit for that

I also think a huge drive was when Sims went out and Coker came in. He never had to throw it until the last play, so he didn't do anything but hand off, but he still managed the drive and took us in to score. He could have gotten the jitters, fumbled a handoff, whatever. We needed to get up two scores. This isn't a Coker vs. Sims thing...it's just that we haven't had a back-up QB come into a big game in a pressure situation and perform in, well, a helluva long time.

Biggest thing I loved about having a more mobile quarterback

Yep. We looked really strong and in control of the second half. We weren't perfect, but we were clearly the better team.
