Valdosta's offense is horrible. Their defense is the truth.

Lassiter was like 12-0 my senior year led by ole Hutson mason and colquitt county came to our place and won by like 30 points in the elite 8. Them South Georgia teams can play

we have football, which is the most important, and I'd call it a draw on baseball....Basketball...well yeah, hard to compete with metro Atlanta's "resources".

They didn't do much last year.Pretty sure just about every classification was won by schools from Griffin to metro Atl.
1AAAAAA hasn't won since 2007.
Lassiter losing in the playofffs is no big suprise. Cobb schools usually do in the playoffs,
Don't beleive they've won state for about 45 yrs

The problem with this is the really good football players are less than stellar in the classroom, and that is part of the bargain as well…well, unless Auburn and/or FSU get in the picture. As long as you can sign your name on NSD, it's all good for them.
