If LSU doesn't make a bowl game, does Les get fired?

I don't think it is likely, but I think it is possible. I chose not to start this on the Rant because I've been banned for less.

I think Miles would get another year, and I actually think it would be good for LSU. If Miles was playing for his job, he would be forced to reconsider the I-formation with a spread option QB system.

He wouldn't get fired. He wouldn't be on the hot seat. He only goes when he retires or if he does something Petrino/Paterno like. .

Yep, our boosters and fans won't accept that.

If LSU had back-to-back losing seasons, he'd be on the hot seat.

Remember, even Bowden was pushed out, and he was in the Top 5 for like 15 straight years.

I thought all teams had back-to-back seasons, except for SMU I guess a few years back

That isn't happening. LSU has the talent to compete beyond 2014, assuming there are no surprising early departures.

LSU could lose to all of these teams.

Alabama
Auburn
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Florida or Kentucky

Not likely, but it's possible.

Everyone in the West has a coach with real game plans instead of a coach who just hopes his athletes out-athlete the other team. The playing field has been leveled. It's going to take real coaching now.

1. He should be fired for not making a bowl game. I hold the belief that any coach at a big 6 school, usce and a&m should be fired if they miss a bowl.

2. sadly he wont be fired because our ad is an arse clown that gave a fricking retard a huge buyout. The only way he would be gone for missing a bowl is if some kind of petrino scandal was to break and we could fire for cause.

IF we don't make a bowl game this year (which is pretty unlikely) I'd want him gone immediately. That shouldn't happen at LSU

ETA: But I don't see it happening

We could always lose to those teams. We will beat most of them.

Miles has the talent and the coaches to win games....he just has to realize the philosophy has to change on O. I've seen numerous teams that Les/Cam have coached where they have thrown the ball a ton. They know how to do it, they just need to have trust in these young players on O. Well see what happens....he has to do something or it could get interesting for him down the line....he has a few years atleast before they would think of canning him.

it is about to break out. Miles has had a girl on the side. my source tells me she is threatening to go to Alleva but nothing has happened yet

This is not the same LSU team as always. Both lines are horrible. There is no incredible game changer on special teams/ defense, and there is no senior NFL QB.
