Scoring Defense

Stanford is 1st nationally at 4.3 ppg
Baylor is 2nd nationally at 9 ppg

1-Ole Miss 10.3 ppg (tied for 3rd nationally)
2-Texas A&M 11.8 ppg (8th nationally)
3-Alabama 14 ppg (10th nationally)
4-LSU 14.5 ppg (11th nationally)
5-Auburn 16 ppg (tied for 13th nationally)
6-Mississippi State 16.5 ppg (tied with Oklahoma for 16th nationally)
7-Kentucky 17.7 ppg (22nd nationally)
8-Georgia 19.7 ppg (tied for 28th nationally)
9-Tennessee 20 ppg (tied for 30th nationally)
10-Missouri 20.8 ppg (39th nationally)
11-Arkansas 23.5 ppg (55th nationally)
12-Florida 24 ppg (tied for 59th nationally)

These stats don't mean much until at least October. Through the first 4-5 weeks most decent teams have played at least three cupcakes to buffer their stats.

Anyone who thinks A&M will finish second in the SEC in PPG allowed or that Arkansas will continue to average 48 PPG isn't worth discussing football with.

So we have Kenny Trill, Johnny Manziel and Case Keenum...what are the last two doing in the NFL these days? Not much because they're system QBs and Sumlin can't win without them.
