What up with KM and Mauger? How long are we going to see club hand Chubb? Would be nice for him to actually have his hand back vs UT.

On a separate note, is JJ out for the UT game as well?

No update on KM, until MRI results come in. Believed to be structurally sound, but won know until they analyze the pictures.

Chubb could have the club off this week, but will depends on if he feels comfortable enough not to have it on.

JJ will not miss any time....as he say out the remainder of the first half and the 1half

shouldnt be...if he would have got ejected in the 2nd half, he would have missed a half in the next game i think.

Quincy Mauger, who started for the first time this season, left the game in the first half with what Richt said was believed to be a “stinger.”

Richt said Mauger’s injury isn’t serious.

Keith could be back for Tennessee. If he does miss it he should be back for vandy.

Is it possible for MM to get a medical redshirt for this year?

I'm almost positive Malcolm got a medical redshirt last year so he can't get another one. On top of that, I think he will play near the end of this year. If he can't I think we can just straight up redshirt him though. Might be wrong on that.

I disagree. Obviously we have the hindsight of seeing how great Sony and Chubb are, but Keith was 100% healthy coming into the year. His problem is all mental.

So are we not expecting Mitchell and JSW back this weekend? I thought previous notions were that we would be 100% at wide receiver for Tennessee?

If this is true, then I agree with you. However, to me, it appears to be a combination of mental and physical.

JSW? Maybe. Mitchell? I give it a 3% chance.

Medical redshirt is only necessary if a player is trying for a 6th year of eligibility. Malcolm is only in his 4th year, classified as a RS junior because he used a regular redshirt last year. He has a 5th year of eligibility avaiable for next season.

If MM wanted to stick around for both the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he could sit out the rest of this year and apply for a medical RS sometime in the future. I kind of doubt he wants to stay that long, so if he's ready to contribute this season I would guess he'll play.

As far as I know, he hasn't even started practicing yet. Which means at a minimum he is 3-4 weeks out. Why bring him back then?

Why did you think that? It's been said for weeks we won't have jsw til vandy

Has Richt said that JSW will be out for the tenn game yet? I heard rumors that he wouldn't be back until vandy but nothing concrete yet. I doubt he plays but it would be nice to know something

I'm beginning to get the impression that MM has either given up football or is taking an actual redshirt on the year. It'll just be up to him to determine when he wants to or wants Richt to announce what's up.
