Predict which rounds our players will go in this year (and enlighten me )

Amari- Top 10
Landon Collins- 1st round
TJ Yeldon- Late Second
Trey Depriest- Early third
Kenyon Drake- Middle third
Blake Sims- Late fifth

Any other projections? And do these seem about right?

TJ will not sniff the second round. Honestly IMO he is the third best back on our team. He tip toes to the line and doesn't have a quick burst. I think Saban just trusts him more then the other two. The draft is based on talent more than the trust that NS has in the player.

Yep.

Landon Collins- 1st round

Yep.

TJ Yeldon- Late Second

Late second to late fourth. He has great burst and is awesome in space, but I keep flipping on whether or not he'll succeed in the NFL.

Trey Depriest- Early third

Mid fourth at best

Kenyon Drake- Middle third

I'd say Late third to early fifth

Blake Sims- Late fifth

I don't know. Maybe.

none of our RB's should declare at this point. NOt sure Sims is an NFL player.

I don't see what Yeldon would gain by coming back for another year. He has shown everything that is in his skill set, helped win a national championship, and will likely lose carries next year to Henry. Why risk the injury?

I think Drake comes back next year, he can greatly improve his draft stock. Sims does not get drafted. He will sign with a team, but not as a QB.

Yeldon still has a lot to work on before entering the NFL draft. A couple of things he needs to work on are : Pad level- He still runs to high when hitting the hole ; needs to learn to be more consistent on carrying/switching the ball under his outside arm.

The RB's are hard to project as the value for the position has dropped so much in the NFL.

Yeldon has all the skills to succeed and is a good blocker and WR.

Drake is fast enough to play WR potentially and has the burst to be a difference make in the NFL

I don't know that Simms has the arm to play QB. He's a good enough athlete to potentially play WR or DB and be a utility QB on the roster.

Yeldon hits the hole like Richardson until he sees Henry start playing well then its like the switch came on.
