i know we can contain and our lbs have picked up. our d line is made for spread teams but half our secondary is still weak. if we score on almost every possession with long drives we can win.

my gut tells me tamu throws a lot and stops our offense a couple more times than we stop theirs. then again my gut is full of beer.

I want to believe!

Our LB's and D line are improving every game. Corners and Safties are young. Just don't see us shutting aTm down, but my gut is full of beer.

Our safeties scare me in this game.

Missed tackles and wide open post and seam routes.

I think it will take a great game from us for us to win. We need to control the ball and win the turnover battle. But we've also got to translate long drives and turnovers into points, because I think aTm will have some quick scoring drives against our secondary.

I've had this game penciled in as a loss since the aTm-USC game, and that's going to stay my expectation.

Haven't be able to watch y'all much this year but I think we have the edge in this one. Y'all's running game makes me nervous but I think we get one more stop than y'all get and win in a close one.

Here's to an injury free game.

Hopefully we'll get a pass rush with our front 4. That would go a long way towards helping us pull the upset.

I think the line ends up at A & M -13.5.

Pre season I had us losing the TTU game and winning the aTm game but I flipped those prior to the TTU game.

I think A & M is even better than last year. While we are as well there are still enough questions for me to think we can't stop the passing attack and although we'll score in the running game it is not going to be enough in a shootout with aTm winning by 10-14.

Anything is possible, we could pull it off, and I would love to see the streak stay alive in Arlington, but realistically I don't see it happening.

their passing will be too strong. but a turnover and a couple stops could give us the win.

SECrant alert. tamu fans aren't blasting the rant with how good they are yet. we should take advantage of this so when they start doing it they will all be response threads.

I just think it would take a combination of things for us to pull it off including turnovers, aTm being off in the passing game, us getting really good pressure on the QB throughout the game, and consistent blanket pass coverage throughout the game. It is possible but aTm would have to struggle in the passing game which they haven't done to this point and we would have to play lights out D the entire game.

And if it does come down to a few points they have the decided edge in the kicking game.

If Coach Smith can figure out some way to get pressure on the QB without exposing our secondary too often, that would certainly help our cause.

Based on the point spread, the experts think the aggie offensive line will be able to handle us.

After watching highlights and replays of just about every game a&m has played this year all I can say is, play like we did in the second half against tech and we beat a&m soundly.

eta - I am ready to watch Skipper man handle myles garret as well.

Agree with both of the below:

Our safeties scare me in this game.

Missed tackles and wide open post and seam routes.

While I think we'll be able to establish the run against them early, I just have this feeling that this will be the Auburn game all over again -- we'll hang with them and possibly go into halftime tied, and they'll exploit missed tackles and holes in our secondary during the second half. If I'm Sumlin, I'm watching the Auburn tape over and over again until I've memorized every second if it.

However, I think if Allen and the receivers can get going, anything is possible.

I think if we can both manufacture a pass rush and contain Hill, we have a chance. The only thing that concerns me is that we weren't able to generate much of a pass rush against both Auburn and Tech, the latter of which is a bit more concerning. We can't allow Hill to run around, expand the pocket and find receivers on the run like Manziel made a living doing for 2 years.

This is the game we need Cameron Jefferson to split time with Cook. We may need Wallace to get snaps too. I know it's indoors but we gotta keep the brutes fresh against the Aggie D.

We all know that pass containment is what will win or lose the game for us. If we see 3 LBrs we're toast. They'll audible get the mismatch on a LB and still have the over the top to go to if/when the corners get beat and Safeties are late to react.

Jennings will earn his salary in this game.
