i hate to be this way while we're 2 1/2 games into the season, but I think we've seen the best were ever gonna get out of this kid. I think it's time we cut our losses and rebuild the QB position with Treon.

He is who he is. Maybe it's all the different OC's. Who knows? But he's definitely ubderachieved big time.

Ive been his biggest supporter but my patience is growing thin with him. He has had good protection today and his throws have been off. They are always so damn high. I will give him this half but damn I dont see a second half turn around like he had in the UK game.

All Im gonna say is that despite 2 drops from WRs in the 1st half, we have WRs running WIDE OPEN...

He eliminates half the field. It's so frustrating!

That's what I have been saying he doesn't read the field. He locks in if its not there he dumps it.

He should leave at the end of this year, but we also should bench him before the end of the year.

None of us are on the coaching staff and we don't know whats on the bench...sure enough if Boom listens to the peanut gallery and another qb comes in and lays an egg....he will be hounded by the idiots who want him gone mid term.

I have been Driskels biggest supporter and the game yesterday was painful to watch...thank God I don't make road trips any more with advancing age/health. It was obvious to me that Driskel is scared to run...is lacking trigger finger and has issues. But guess what? ALL qbs have warts of some kind.

even with piss poor performance on offense we still were in the game early in 3rd qt...we got turnover and were at about the Bama 40 yd line ready to score and take lead...then the fumble by Matt Jones on a clean handoff. The air was taken from our sails and Bama marched 66 yds...converting 3 third downs including a back breaker on 3rd and about 24 yds. It killed us when they scored and even though we were down by only a TD...it might as well been a hundred. We got the kickoff...tried running...three and out...game over.
I saw five dropped passes that were perfect throws by Jeff...now I know why Dunbar/Fulwood aren't targeted much. Bama covered DRob like a blanket and we didn't do the same against #9.
Not opposed to giving another qb a shot...but we have to be careful not to destroy Jeff in the process. He has work his azz off to be the starter and although its obvious he didn't perform well yesterday...we may still need him when/if qb # 2 lays egg or gets injured etc etc.
What bothers me the most is that I don't see him on the sidelines interacting and leading his team. I know he is even keel...but aggressiveness and rallying is what Id want to see.
