My guess is he sits next game and comes back for LSU but doesn't start. Thoughts?

I hope it is just one game. I dont want him getting rusty but Hosley played great in his stead.

Can anyone pinpoint why Sexton was able to do so well against us?

He ran great routes on soft coverage

At least 3 or 4 of his catches were a result of him coming back for the ball after their qb broke contain. I put those on the DL. He also got 2 or 3 catches when he was in the slot working against a safety or a star in soft coverage.

I think he is gone.
Apparently, a pretty ugly scene went down.

Pretty much this. Ran crisp routes and did a good job of working back to the QB when plays were extended by waters. Very hard to cover a WR when he's pretty much just improvising on the go.

What happened? I know he yelled at a coach but just doing that once isn't worthy of kicking him off the team. Is there more to it?

I liked what I saw in Manhattan KS.

Best defensive game AU has played since the 2011 BCSCG in my opinion.

Don't change it.

I agree. You can't blame a DB for not being able to stay on a receiver for that long. I thought our DB's played well overall in that game. Our bunch isn't going to shut down many, but as long as they limit the big play, and make a big play here or there when we need it, I am o.k. with that.

Holsey, ford, and moncrief are solid safeties... with Ruffin and Roberts providing depth.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have whitehead back... just not to the detriment of team chemistry.

Wasn't the first time. And how he reacted after this one was probably the last straw for the staff. It seems like JW thinks he is smarter than the coaches.

How could there be so much tension for a guy that is starting for an undefeated team?

What a weird situation. Do we know what he's pissed about?

There is also rumor going around that is about more than arguments. Not confirmed yet though.
