23rd in total defense... 19th in scoring defense.
We're also one of only a few teams thats played two Power-5 teams in our first three games.

I think Thursday showed us how much we miss them. That's why I picked us to go 9-3 this regular season.
That said, KSU was one of the games I had in my possible loss category, the others being LSU, Ole Freeze, SC, UGa and Bama. We played our worst overall game offensively since the 2012 Iron Bowl and still won, which gives me hope for the rest of the year.

Yeah, I have been very impressed with the play of the D so far. The D is what won the game for us Thurs., IMO.

Ellis' schemes to cover the lack of edge rushers have also been impressive. Ic line the zone blitzing i saw Thursday.
