Prior to the season I would have said no chance, but now through 3 games he has 3 catches for 37 yards. The addition of Duke and and emergence of Melvin Ray is really going to eat into his touches.

I wonder if he'll consider coming back and going out with a bang

Doubt it but it would be nice.

Good question. He has been planning to go pro after this year since last November or December. Whether a rough season changes his mind, I don't know.

Might want to give this question a few months. There's no telling how his season will end, so, and no offense, there's not really any point in asking the question.

If he cant prove he can catch the ball consistently, he wont have an option.

I think he could have a pretty quiet season and still be drafted in the top half of the draft based on his measurables alone. If AL Davis were still alive he would love him!

He and Duke would be well served to spend next year catching passes from JJ and SW.

Both draft stock would be higher.

Said this same thing Thursday. If he keeps playing like he has this season his stock will plummet.

Sammie's marred by inconsistent hands and an inconsistent QB. But as long as he has a decent season, he'll go tear up the combine and be a late 1st-early 2nd round pick.

So no. I don't expect him back next season.

if he was smart, he would come back to where we have a decent a passing QB next season. thats not a knock on Marshall, but i think we can call agree that our QB prospects for starter next season looks damn good.

With JJ he has an all american season next year .

With Marshall and Duke here there are limited opportunities and most go to Duke

I think he should come back unless he starts to have a breakout season.

I don't know what his situation is though.

Yes it is. And it's a fair knock.

Marshall is what he is. Looks great at times, looks like he's never thrown a football in his life other times.
