How come I never heard about Peyton Manning teabagging a trainer?

quote:

In the suit, Manning was accused by a then-University of Tennessee female trainer of dropping his pants during an injury examination, and placing his buttocks and private parts on her face.

Seems like everyone involved paid her to shut up about it multiple times.

Don't remember anything about this when it happened.

Agreed, I'm gonna go ahead and claim the 97 SEC title for Bama since Manning clearly is a Bama guy at heart.

Because they media chose to cover him getting teabagged by UF 4x instead.

Manning's problem was that he couldn't keep his mouth shut, even almost ten years later. As vulgar as it was, you might still write it off as a foolish decision by a college student, but talking about it on ESPN as a 28 year old is either incredibly stupid for a guy as bright as Manning, or incredibly arrogant. And when you consider that he's had Archie Manning to help shape his image over the years, one has to wonder what the hell he was thinking. Malcolm Saxon's testimony is especially damning.

That isn't how I heard it happened. I am pretty sure the trainer saw Manning's bare arse and balls and placed her face on them. She just wants money.

I think the LSU fan did the same thing after 21-0.

One can only speculate. Maybe the author thinks there's a double standard. Maybe the internet age has put athletes under a microscope more today.

Peyton Manning is the Danny Weurffel of the NFL.

Wins tons of accolades and pads stats like a motherfricker in a high flying offense but rarely ever wins the big one. Nothing special about him really.

Cause you didn't pay attention? It was dissected like hell on sports radio at the time it happened. It's not a 'new' story at all. Like 15+ years German.
