I remember when our recruiting class was outside of the top 20...Sherman's final class in 2011.
ESPN - NR (4 SEC teams top 10, 9 in top 25, including Arkansas at 18)
24/7 - 35th
Rivals - 27th

State won't be ahead at signing day! Hell you have 27 recruits.

Patton, think I tapped that in my day

Ahhh, then you surely remember getting your asses handed to you in Jerry World a few times by the Hogs.

Good luck every game but ours!

I concur. sWc will never die. Beat the hell out of SMU.

Well you haven't "out 'Bama". We have the top class now and for the last five years.

"just outside" the Top 20 isnt impressive when youre in the SECW
In fact it's landing you 6th right now in that very division

I'd be thrilled with a 15-20th ranked class after the shitshow we've put on the field the last couple seasons.
That will be good for 7th in the West and only ahead of Vandy in the SEC.

Don't look now but tBertship is right on the outside of the Top 20 in recruiting
he might be able to squeeze in there.

I remember only one of those games being a blowout.
2009 A&M was hammered
2010 A&M was inept and lost by 7
2011 Sherman choked a 35-18 halftime lead

Is that good?
It's better than what we had with Nutt or Petrino. So I'll take it.

Reminds me what a recruiting genius Saban is. Doesn't recruit place kickers which might jeopardize his recruiting national championship streak.

We're only at 19 and we're 6th. I can almost guarantee we'll be no worse than 2nd when all is said and done.

You guys should have a stellar class. Simply for the fact that Texas is fricking loaded for the 2015 class.
I've got a post somewhere around fall of 2013 that brags on how much talent was in Texas for this coming class.
It certainly helps that Texas is a shitshow, and with the early commit cycles it's a full 2 years before you see a big impact on recruiting with a coaching change.
Texas has some good top end talent in the '16 class but it's not nearly as deep as this year. Charlie will have more of an impact, but 2017 is the year he should eat Sumlin's lunch on the recruiting trail. Frankly, if he doesn't, he'll have a rough stay in Austin that will be short no doubt.
