Interesting.

At what part of the interesting comment was I sparking a debate on whether an air raid offense could win a national championship?

Mangino was the OC when OU won the NC. He's on the air raid coaching tree serving as OL coach under Leach

Funny he hasn't coached at any program higher than Kentucky and the dude has changed the way college football is being played.

Fast paced throw the ball all over the field and cheat like a motherfricker in recruiting. I do see a lot of teams emulating this style.

Where they coach has nothing to do with it.

Charles “Spud” Cason changed the way football was played in the late 60's, 70's, 80's but I bet you couldn't tell me where he coached without googling.

Where does Mouse Davis and his student June Jones fit?

June actually hired Mumme as his OC at SMU.

Long time Baylor coach. He was more a three yards and a cloud of dust guy, I think.

But as Kentucky's coach in the late 1990s, he is the one who brought video game offenses to the SEC, the game's motherland. And it was there that football changed forever.

I think Spurrier would have something to say about that.

Hal had a miserable record at UK, especially the last two years. He went winless in the SEC his last year, he was on the way out regardless. He has never won anything anywhere he has coached. Most stops have ended in losing records. The story should mention that. He is where he belongs. A tiny school in Div III that does not care about winning and will let him run his dog and pony passing show for fun. Miserable coach as far as actually competing and winning however.
