no coach has ever been more overrated than Bill Snyder

in his 23rd season at KState. he's won the Big 12 twice. he's 7-8 in bowl games. Since 2001, he's 6-15 vs. top 25 teams, 23-43 overall (time of game ranking), and 24-36 against teams finishing the season over .500. the only 2 consistently good Big 12 programs during his tenure were Oklahoma and Nebraska, and he went 7-11 and 5-14.
and "doing more with less" stopped being a compliment about 15 years ago. go fricking recruit. that's half the job. having shitty players, when you're the one in charge of selecting them, is not some badge of honor. you're not paid to stock a team with "less". and he doesn't do "more" anyway, he does "just slightly more".
im not saying hes a bad coach, just overrated, just nowhere near the top 20.
(and yes, i posted this on the scoreboard about 3 seconds before it got locked, so now here we are)

K State was a perennial bottom ten team before Snyder. They tried ti return there the few years he left.
