We didn't get beat by a long ball over the top.

We had good coverage on the deep balls for the most part and Moncrief broke one up. Ford broke up 2 that I remember, and Ruffin and Roberts almost had picks in help on deep balls.

I don't want to start a conspiracy, but Whitehead wasn't on the field...

Overall I thought our secondary played great. We could have done a better job on Whitey Sexton, but most of their passing yards came on scrabbles from lack of real pressure. I was happy with our secondary.

Reed is a strength in the secondary. He plays with a confidence that I haven't seen at CB since guys like Pat Lee and Jerraud Powers. Very impressive tonight

He never should've been a WR. There's a reason he was an All-American at CB. Shame that we wasted his talent for 3 years
