They are disciplined, but they've been holding all night.

They've been getting away with illegal blocks on a couple of the returns, slowly setting the ball by the refs. No biggie frick the wildcats.

Through 4 quarters.

Of course, they had *one* when their kicker kicked it out of bounds on the FIRST play of the game.

But after that?

Nada... the Big 12 refs did what they had to do.

I pretty much never say anything about holding because it's such a subjective penalty but for them to not have a single one called all night is remarkable.

There were blocks on the back on virtually every one of those long punt returns as well. Again, I understand them being missed sometimes when they are bang bang but for them to not get called for a single one is amazing.

All that said, it had nothing to do with that pathetic offensive effort.

Agreed.

Their scheme worked... But they're used to that in the big 12.

On the review in the 4th I'm wondering if any you noticed the massive frickup by the refs. As soon as the review is complete they are to restart the clock. The refs just sat there while KSU was on the sideline using it as a timeout. Our players were on the field screaming to start the clock. This is a rule. There is no gray area on this.

I too hate to bitch in a win but our DL got tackled all night long. ESPN keeps running missed chances for k state but for frick sakes we were playing them and the refs tonight.
