I like [link=(ttp://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/9/17/6343431/georgia-south-carolina-TWIS )]TWIS[/link] better than Meltdown Time. Here's a gem they pulled from DawgSports
quote:

I have not read the comments and I probably will not

This game has made me sick. I have a passion for collegiate football. I desire to watch it over any other sporting event in existence. BUT the overwhelming partiality involved in UGA games since 2000 has left me an uncaring soul. As long as Mike Slive and Steve Shaw are left in control there is no way in hell that UGA will ever be the team on top in the SEC. There has never been any support from the league office for UGA (Hawaii, LSU jumping, no rematch in 2012...etc, there are TONS of times where UGA has been on the better team outside looking in). AM I PISSED about Mark Richt and the teams reaction to tonight's loss...YES I AM, but can I understand their reluctance to get emotional...For so long UGA has been the whipping boy of the SEC...you know the very one....the better man in the class taking all the crap and disdain from the dumb teacher. But my emotions are running away...let me get back to point.

UNTIL the boosters of UGA force the University to demand an accounting of the league officials in Alabama, nothing will get better. There is evident disdain for the UGA program in Birmingham. Tonight's film is enough to prove that.

The non-call for OFFENSIVE pass interference on Carolina's first quarter score, the VERY WEAK holding call on Gurley's long TD run (Holding CAN be called against both teams and there were more FLAGRANT examples of holding from the home team), the intentional grounding call when the ball struck the leg of a defender, the first down on 4th when the chain was VERY CLEARLY longer than the nose of the football.

DID UGA PLAY A WEAK GAME? Yes

But South Carolina was the weaker team on display and by the pure will of the SEC (who else can you hold accountable for the pure lack of officiating) were they able to win....

I am going to say it here first and depending on when and how drastically my hangover subsides tomorrow, my opinion may be expressed all over...but I am sick of Mike Slive and the SEC. TO HELL WITH THE SEC. I am dropping the mic and walking off the stage.....

Now that is a quality melt, coherent enough you can follow it, but still melty enough to feel the pain.

The anti-SEC ranter is right. The vendetta against Richt (an ACC guy) originated with the call to send the whole team on the field against the gators. Think back to the absurd celebration call against A. J. Green that cost us a game against LSU. Think back to the four game suspension against A. J. Green. Think back to the biased officiating Saturday in favor of USC.

In spite of it, UGA is tops for great football games and recruits are coming in droves. Before long the Dawgs will be so good that they will defeat the cheating SEC.

LSU was also flagged right?

Wasn't that an NCAA suspension?

Just because the officiating was turrible doesn't mean it was biased against you.

USC fans have just as much to many questions about the officiating as UGA fans do.

The kind of melt we should all aspire to if we are so (un)fortunate.

Read and heed, people.

Wow, I've never seen such an irrational blame for the mutts dancing on the field

Slive has favored GAg in scheduling for the last few years. No Bama, Florida gets to play them more, they have had the easiest schedule in the east for years.
Your crying is absurd. Bad calls happen in every freaking game. Florida gets penalized more than any other team since the 90s. Look at the stats Spurs has in SC compared to FL. Look at the stats of Urbs in Florida vs OSU.

Come on man, Helen is MEDIOCRE. It is your problem. Don't blame anyone else for your yearly mediocrity.

A completely idiotic moron saying completely idiotic things after a loss?

There's one in every fanbase.

Tell you what. Y'all can have back the Gurley holding touchdown.

We just want the offsetting penalties when Gurley punched a guy after getting bottled up on third down. Y'all wound up scoring on that drive.

We trade those two calls, and the score is somewhat more indicative of the game. 38-35 USC. Much more fair.
