I had a coworker a few years back who used a combo of sick days and personal days for it. I wouldn't mind going to a Madness with Cal, but I've been to enough before that I'd rather spend my time at the Blue-White Scrimmage.

My nephews have done this for years, a couple of them are now in college. They did it in high school. I used to take them pizzas a couple of nights.
Place was a zoo. People of all ages, huddled together for days.

In an age of selfies, texting, and lack of communication it is nice to see an event where folks actually talk to those around them and combines all ages from the young to the old. Think of it, folks are more social her than at an actual game.
