I was really enjoying the video of Mason in the locker room pre-game. Then two things jumped out at me. First, Mason keeps talking to the camera. He even points straight at it a few times. Then, I realized the players seemed bored. There was no energy. CDM is yelling, and they're all just huddled around like "ok" and only responded a few times with minimal enthusiasm.

Later, I noticed there was no video of halftime. Those moments were my favorites, showing how players and coaches reacted to the first half, whether they went our way or not. Nothing. That worries me because SOMETHING should have been done or said. It seems like whatever was done or said was deemed either unimportant or not something Vandy wants to let people see. Of course I'm not accusing them of doing anything inappropriate, I merely mean that it was uninspiring or showed lack of control or something similar.

That's probably because someone went berserker and it would be bad PR for Vandy if it gets out youknowman. Can you even imagine where they were youknowman at the half? Great recruiting youknowman; have to have a motivational speech to come from behind on a I-AA team?

Anywho, looks like we will see a lot of Freebeck and Patton together. With Mason's unorthodox approach, do you think they will line up in a 2 QB Set to F with the SoCar defense?

What we know so far on the QB situation:
- Patton is pretty safe, but with the receivers we have, need someone with a better arm in terms of accuracy and strength
- Freebeck has a cannon, but could get killed by our O line
- Mcrary needs more seasoning, but be confident, with the amount of switching done this year he will play again this year, just not against South Carolina. I'll bet he gets in against one of the other I-AA teams
- Rivers was pretty good passing wise but will definitely get killed with his legs out there.

Other thoughts:

- Webb is the real deal. That is all.

Anyone know if our DL guy that looked banged up is going to be okay?

By the way did anyone else notice that QB from Umass set a record yesterday for freshman with 500+ yards passing and 5tds?

Bowling Green. 598 yards and 5 TDs.

Not to be outdone, Connor Halliday (a senior) threw for 738 yards this weekend - putting up an xbox stat line
