Does OJ Howard still exist?

Not a flame, I just realized Howard doesn't have a catch this year. Is he playing? To my knowledge he isn't hurt. I know Sims pretty much only throws it to Cooper but damn...Howard is a freak. One would think he'd be a perfect fit for safe throws underneath. Is Saban trying to one-up LSU for TE wasteland? Guy can't let us have anything.

If he played in the right system he would be the best tight end in the country, when he did that against LSU I was at a loss for word

Speaking of a loss for words....what the hell is Mills doing? It looks like Howard is his responsibility but he's no where close to him and then jogs after him. If he busts his arse, he probably cuts off Howard.

I was told by Bama fans that the reason Kiffin was hired was because the last OC didn't get the ball into the hands of OJ.

I believe we tried to get it to him a few times this past weekend, but he was usually double covered.

Ahh well that would be good explanation for his absence. I'm guessing blocking > catching to Saban. Much like Miles. We've got a few good pass catching TE's on the roster but we never see them.

I'm fairly certain he's actually been a very good blocker. I think they like having him block more right now to give Sims more protection and time to throw comfortably. A more knowledgable fan could give you a better explanation.

There were a few plays last game where the ball was supposed to go to Howard. Plus we don't want UF to see what we are going to do #secretplaybook
