BEST BYE WEEK EVER! Thanks to Spurrier working some of his old man magic, Georgia takes a nosedive in the Power Rankings this week. Consequently Auburn jumped to the #1 spot by doing nothing...we'll see if they deserve that honor this Thursday night when they travel to Manhattan to take on Kansas State. Texas A&M actually secured the most FPVs this week, but missed out on the number one spot by just 3 points. We rounded out the top5 with Alabama, LSU, and then Ole Miss. The two big conference games of Alabama vs. Florida and LSU vs. MSU should really tell us which direction these 4 teams are going. Our voters would like to thank Vandy for consistently giving them only 13 teams to rank each week

Semo and I would like to thank the Football Power Rankings Committee who created all this. It'd be impossible to do this without them. We'd also like to thank Week 3's randomly selected Guest Voters: Gradual_Stroke & WeBleedCrimson. We had 30+ Guest Votes submitted this week, so thanks Ranters.

This week we have the high & low votes back in each team section. The points arrows are a work in progress...next week, pinky promise

FPV - First Place Votes
APS - Average Points Scored
APA - Average Points Allowed

Week 3 Power Rankings (Text Version)
1. Auburn
2. Texas A&M
3. Alabama
4. LSU
5. Ole Miss
6. South Carolina
t7. Georgia
t7. Missouri
9. Mississippi State
10. Arkansas
11. Florida
12. Tennessee
13. Kentucky
14. Vanderbilt

It hurts so good...

From 11th to 6th. Now that's what I call efficiency.

I told you that you all were better than that aTm game my friend.

The East will be crazy this year. Should be fun.

Why? That's an accurate ranking. If anything you have to put LSU above bama

Methinks Georgia may end up being better than most of these teams.

The argument to put LSU on front of Bama doesn't exist. The argument for Ole Miss being better than the tigers is realistic and can be argued.

I don't think we should have the most first place votes.

We've been tweaking it since Week 1. Still a work in progress but I think it's an improvement from the previous editions.

Thanks
