These guys are all clowns
quote:
“If someone presented a case like that now, I think you would be fair to say that he probably wouldn’t be at Oklahoma,” Castiglione said. “Just because of the attention and the cases now in the public consciousness, the university would have been unlikely to take on a situation like that.”

So what he is saying is that now that domestic violence in football is under public scrutiny, it isn't as hip to bring someone like that on to the team?

Yep basically saying that they wouldn't have done it because it would have been bad PR, not because he fricking threw a girl down the stairs. Unbelievable.

Castiglione is a calculated clown. Now that DGB didn't get his waiver and can't help them this year, they're on the hook for a scholarship and will get nothing for it, knowing he'll be gone next year to the NFL draft. On top of that they are getting scrutinized for wanting athletes like him and Mixon when that issue is in the headlines.
Oklahoma: running a scummy program and win-at-all-cost attitude since 1895.

So, he admits that basically he needs a video to tell him that domestic violence is wrong and could send the wrong message?
I'm so glad Mizzou is way ahead of the curve in dealing with these issues...
