LSU is a good team.

Good, not great. I think you'll see a hard fought victory by either LSU or State this Saturday but it won't be anything to be proud of. Either losing to or actually being either team would be shameful for other elite programs in the country (Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Maine, etc.). I think one advantage for LSU is in the coaching department. Mullen is good, not great and Miles is great but not good. LSU definitely has a better QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, K, and P but the rest is really up in the air. I can feel it in the air tonight though. The grind. tGrind. Maniacal yet kind. Rapey yet gentle. Queer yet peaceful. Leonard Fournette is a poor man's Brandon Bolden. Good, not great. PP7 is great, not good. Especially since he's in the NFL receiving some quality coaching. Great coaching, not good coaching. Tiger Stadium aka Vaught Hemingway South is a good stadium. Great if you enjoy your sports with a healthy dose of capitalism and battered up hot dogs on a stick. Great insult. Not good. Corndogs are rarely good but they are always great. Then there is the great city of Baton Rouge. A great place for family fun mixed with a little evening homicide juice. Blood. Not great but good. Blood means it's a' workin'. My final prediction: We all lose because one of these teams have to win. May the best loser win. Good. Not great. Cornmeal. Not juice. Ouch. Get some.
