Serious question.
I would be willing to lose to Arkansas if it meant finishing 11-1 with road wins over auburn/bama and home wins vs ole miss and LSU to close out the season. What do you guys think for your respective teams?

Edit: the real question is would anyone NOT do this.

Sure. 7-1 means we win the West bec LSU will lose two games.

If losing to A&M = going 7-1 in the SEC including wins over UGA, UF and UT you better believe Gamecocks would take that in a heartbeat. One because of the more personal nature of those match-ups for Gamecock fans, and two because that would mean we would win the East.

Of course. It worked for AU last year.

LSU, no care.

Yes. 7-1 would either be Atlanta or a Sugar Bowl. I'd take it but losing to Memphis would be the worst.

NEXT sec game. If you already lost one then you finish 10-2

Lose to Bama, but win out, sure. We'd still need to beat SC/UGA anyway to win east. 11-1 this season would be fantastic.

If we lose our next SEC game and go 7-1 afterwards, that would mean that we would play 9 SEC games overall and finish 7-2.

But, you just meant go 7-1 overall, right?

Yes, anyone would take that.

Of course I would. Florida is not even in our division. Alabama would win the west and a victory in the SEC CG we'd be in the playoffs.
