Is it just me or UGA, UF, SC don't scare me at all this year?

UT already faced possibly the best front 7 in the country at a hostile environment. Defense is battle tested and it will keep us in a striking distance to win games as long as the offense executes.

SC and UGA definately have some weaknesses, especially in the secondary. They should be ranked right around 18-25 imo. UF is the same old Muschamp's UF from what I've seen. Haven't seen Mizzou play so I can't comment on them.

UGA scares me , We aren't likely to beat the cocks but we can, Florida doesn't scare me in the least

I think Mizzou is underrated, going to be tough

All three are very beatable. UGA and SCAR secondaries are mediocre at best. Florida is continuing their trend as the Florida of new... wouldn't surprise me if they go winless over the next 5 weeks.

Mizzou still looks pretty solid; however, the SEC East is completely up for grabs.

Problem is Von and Smith are out 2-6 weeks (both have high ankle sprains from different games). Von may be back for UGA but he may not and Smith certainly won't be. Josh Malone's gonna have to step up and Croom is gonna have to get his head straight.

We should get Wolf back though.

Mizz still looks dangerous
UGA & USC have big question marks in the secondary

I still need to see more from UF before I can gauge where they are. From what I've seen though, they are more than beatable. Granted, that's only going off of the UK game.

One thing about the UGA game... I could be wrong but I'm convinced that Jancek takes whatever went down when he and Martinez were there personally. They threw the kitchen sink at UGA last year on both sides of the ball.

I don't believe we bill beat Georgia or south Carolina this year. But I can't wait to beat Florida at home this year. I would almost guarentee a victory against them if we can get healthy

The scary thing to me is based on the slip ups all the mentioned teams have had if we catch them right we could end up with some surprise wins. It will take a lot but it's not out of the realm of possibility, and that's something we couldn't even think about for long time. Don't get me wrong if we make a bowl game this year is a success, but I'm just saying....

I think collectively, these games are more winnable than they have been in 5 seasons. None of the three are extremely scary. With that said, I think we upset one of them and I don't think it'll be UGA. I also think somehow we beat OM to get to 4 conference wins.

The SEC is good like always, but I don't see any definite loss on the schedule from here on out...although I don't see many games we should be favored either. I think there are gonna be some fun moments this year.

UGA seems the least likely because they're stinging from a loss, they'll be at home, and we may not have Von back. The oline having this bye week is good but they're also gonna gel as more games are played. I'd feel better if we knew for sure we'd have Pearson and if Josh Smith hadn't been injured at OU.

That said, more and more I think OU's strategy was to go at a young team hard and as fast as possible to try and stun us. They knew as well as anyone we had a lot of froshies and a remixed line and they did it on both sides of the ball. The offense did it in their first two drives and sure enough that's pretty much where our team gave up points - TKjr was pulled because he was totally lost (didn't have time to think). But our D settled in and their O couldn't maintain that speed.

In contrast, OU's D maintained it better. Particularly, Striker. But by the second half of the game two big things had happened. Our young guys who weren't used to game speed let alone the warp speed OU was coming at our line with started to adjust to it. They stopped having to think and consequently whiffing and started reacting. Helm came up with a big block on Jalen's run that opened the pathway for him and Helm had been in bad shape all night. But the whole line started to grow. The second thing is that OU's D had started to gas themselves with the exception of Striker while our guys weren't showing any fatigue at all and remember OU plays in the offense heavy B12 and likely prepared a game plan to go at us fast. Our guys endured while there's didn't - that's a hopeful sign.

However, the best part for us is that those guys on our line started to grow a little bit (adjust to the speed) AND we won't see an SEC Dline that tries that or can pull it off again. Clowney's gone.

After seeing how they performed at OU, I think our D can keep us in any game and that our team overall plays with so much fight and intensity that we can make things happen. And if our oline can keep growing up, we'll have an even better chance.

No game on that list is a guaranteed win but nothing's a guaranteed loss either and it feels good to say that.

That and I feel like they have the best roster/coaching staff situation. Maybe not by much, but I was a little bit surprised they lost to USC.

I agree. That loss could pay dividends during SEC play.

Absolutely, it's a big step in the right direction.

Von Pearson will be out for UGA. Confirmed. Time for Malone and Croom to step up.

Better to wait than rush him back.

How's you're oline looking so far. That was the key to the USCe game. They were able to keep our front 7 from getting to the qb.

Run blocking ok I would say, Not sure how y'all's front 7 is compared to OU's but OU had Worley running for his life

So not good for now, hopefully will improve

Playing OU was a good way to grow that line up fast, albeit a painful one for Worley. It will be interesting to see how far they've come. I don't expect it to be miraculous.
