Can’t make it to Kansas State? Head downtown to the Gay Street parking lot to watch Auburn on the big screen on Thursday, Sept. 18. The fun begins at 6 p.m., followed by a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. Until the sun goes down, we’ll have the game broadcasting live on TVs, then we’ll switch the feed over to our 25 foot, inflatable outdoor screen. Admission is FREE!

Bring your tailgate chairs and arrive early to find the perfect spot to watch the game. Pick up dinner from a downtown restaurant, let the kids bounce around on inflatables, and purchase hamburgers and hot dogs, snacks, and sno cones from on-site vendors. Wear your orange and blue and don't forget your shakers! The outdoor screening is a downtown entertainment district event. No glass or outside alcohol.

Family friendly

Another reason why the city of Auburn rocks! I'm glad they're using that new parking lot to do things like this.

yea, i hate to sound like a drunk, but watching auburn football without drinking seems weird. I'm already grumpy enough about it being on a thursday thus limiting consumption.

Last year I watched the Georgia, Alabama, and SECC games at the house. For the BCSC I got talked into going to skybar. It was too crowded to get a drink unless you were already by the bar and we lost. Needless to say I'll be propped up on the couch with my cooler in front of me come Thursday.

So let me get this straight: you need to pick and choose your spot?

The trick is to get a spot at the bar.
