Scotland votes on Independence on Thursday

See, this is secession done right.
They're voting on whether or not to leave the UK. Primary reason cited is David Cameron's decision to block all internet pornography in the country.
Polling is close with last week's polls showing roughly an even split with a couple point edge against independence in most polls.
Independence could be interesting, the Scots would have to find a replacement for the Pound and the rest of the Union may suffer with Wales and Northern Ireland already making noise.
What do you guys want to see? A UK as it is now or a free Scotland?

The Scots want to stay with the Pound.
Keep the monetary policy just have total autonomy to reap all that oil money for their small population. Plus they are a bunch of liberals upset with the conservative English (grossly oversimplified).

Scotland should do whatever they want.
The only reason I hope they vote for independence is because I think it would be cool to see a new flag of the United Kingdom.
There's no way they take Scotland out and potentially add Wales without it becoming a complete shitshow of a flag.

So my wife is making me watch this Outlander show and they're trying to raise Prince Something or other to be the king of Scotland and get out of British rule. Something about jackaknapes.

I was in Scotland during the last independence vote. They really don't like England. Or us, for that matter.

What did we ever do to them? I get that all their best people emigrated here and that's why most of Europe hates us but come on.

They're very different people who just did business together for the past 300 years. They weren't just different, they had different bloodlines, culture, history, and they fought each other forever. It's Scotland's call whether they want to secede or not.

England will likely tell them to go frick themselves if they want to use a joint monetary system after seceding. Scotland will then likely have two choices, set up a Central Banking system and back their own currency or set up a Central Banking system, as requested by the EU, and pray for quick admittance to European Union so they can use the Euro.
I think that in the long run it could be a good thing for Scotland, but it will be tough sledding for them starting out. Their coffers aren't exactly full and the populace is basically demanding an end to austerity measures.
