When are the Dawgs getting Mitchell, JSW, and Rumph back? They do not need them this weekend against Troy but I think UGA needs them against Tennessee!

At this point, I'll be surprised if Runph ever steps foot on the field. He just seems to have a really hard time staying healthy. It sucks because he could be a real weapon, but I think we just need to plan like he won't be back.

I've kind of written off seeing Rumph or Mitchell again. Not saying it couldn't happen but at this point I am resigning myself to not seeing them again. Which I hate for both of them.

Rumph can make the catch if he happens to wind up in the same general vicinity of the ball. Unfortunately his route running was still an issue going into this season. Between that and the nagging injuries, it's becoming doubtful that he'll contribute before he runs out of eligibility.

Yep, and this the kind of thing that I have mentioned relative to our perceived underachievement. Yea, we have top 10 recruiting most years but when 3 of your best receivers are on the bench for extended periods, you're not fielding a top 10 receiving core. We had similar issues with A.J. Green and of course the long list of walking wounded last season. Every season we seem to have uncanny attrition of key players for a variety of reasons.

Hopefully we get 2/3 of the three back for UT. MM was running at practice late last week, was he not? I say hold them all out for Troy and hope for Tenn.

If MM is able to play, he should. You can't expect him to take over a year off from game action and hop right in against UT and not miss a beat.

I don't know why people are always so infatuated with rumph. He's done exactly nothing in his time here. Yall might as well be clamoring for why turman isn't getting more carries.

JSW is out til vandy, most likely.

I understand that, especially if he is truly ready. Richt hardly rushes injured players back so if he plays it's because he is truly ready

Potential, I suppose. Much higher ceiling than a lot of our WR's.

I mean he's tall...but he's shown nothing worthy of starting or getting significant reps. I mean I hate to say it, but Kenneth Towns has done more for UGA on the field than rumph has. If we're without Mitchell again, a group of bennett/conley/mckenzie/davis should be perfectly fine.

If JR is healthy, sure..play him. Get him reps..but only bc it's troy.

that's the word, and I havne't really seen anything to suggest that's incorrect.

So much winning. Probably the best thing I've ever seen on the internet.

I'm not expecting much, if at anything at all from Mitchell or Rumph. The only thing I remember Mitchell doing is turning that short pass into a td vs Florida. Rumph, I haven't seen him make an impact yet.

JSW is the one I'm expecting to get back and actually play some this year.

like all year? Why not?

He won't be an All American, but I don't see why he can't make plays for us. Even if he sits this week, we'll still have him down the stretch.

Sounds like Mitchell's close to being back.

ETA: something else interesting, Sony Michel is a captain this week

Damn, never heard of a true freshman being a captain this early. Or, shite, ever.
