Auburn will soon be making a big leap upwards.
ETA: Alabama will hover in the 100's.

Well, to be fair. When you lose a game, that tends to make the team you lost to look better. So you have a stronger strenght of schedule.

lulz state fans and their "competition"
Posted on 9/15/14 at 11:49 am to Cheese Grits
Bama doin' work once again
Of course that's pretty much a non factor considering the west is gonna be an absolute bitch this season. Nobody can tell any west team they have a weak schedule this year.

Well this pretty much shits on state fans arguments that their opponents are better than LSU's.

If you are in the Western Division and go 11-1 or 12-0 and win the SECCG nothing else matters.

Since Idaho is sitting at 170 with a SoS of 163, Not sure if this would have helped the Gators much but it should have helped some.

The thing i dont like about these polls is they are very subjective. How does Alabama have the 140th strength of schedule. We play in the SEC WEST, that alone is better than 140th. Samford is number 3, please look at their schedule and tell me they play better teams week in and week out compared to South Carolina (6) or Alabama (141) or any other SEC school.

You can thank Bama, and thanks for nothing in return. See how it works?

Pretty sure it's only including games played

This has nothing to do with what I said. State fans are using LSU's inferior opponents as the reason why LSU is so overrated. This poll, even though it way to early to be credible, shits all over that line of reasoning.

You are right, it doesn't have anything to do with what you said.
I wasn't responding to what you said.

So A&M is 3-0 and we've played two top-6 teams in terms of SoS, with #14 upcoming?

I don't think SOS means what you think it means.
