Was Franklin that good of a coach and recruiter or did he get lucky to be there during the Easts worst era ever? Mason looks constipated and confused on tv between every play. He doesn't look like a real coach to me. He never looks like he knows what's going on. And they are a terrible team that has no business playing an SEC schedule. They made a big mistake in hiring him I think and I don't see him lasting 3 years.

Franklin was that good IMO. He would have a decent shot at the east division title had he stayed one more year and kept his recruits. Imagine that, Vandy in the SEC championship game

He rode a down East to 7 wins with a team full of seniors. No impressed.

It's always been this way with Vandy. They definetly shouldn't be a SEC West team's permanent cross division opponent.

So you can't give Franklin credit but you can castigate Mason based on the way he looks. Despite his resume, you think he doesn't know what he is doing? I think you need to go on a long vacation.

Nobody tells Clark W Griswold when to take a vacation.
Who said I didn't give Franklin credit? I just can't believe they dropped off in head coaching talent that much to be so terrible after he built the program up. But Mason doesn't look or act like a head coach on game days. He is also proving he can't coach when you look at their resume so far. They got killed by Temple and took a prayer to beat UMass. They will finish with no more than 3 wins a year removed from shocking everyone. And the East still sucks.
